Dramaturgy

I frequently introduce my work as a new work dramaturg as “someone who has no business writing a play, but is a great editor.” I love bringing my work as a producer and director directly to supporting playwrights, assisting in the creation of work that will translate as true as possible to the stage from its origins in the dreams of a writer. I am particularly drawn to development of musical theatre, bolstered by my background as a performer and composer.

In my work as Director of Growth and Development for the Los Angeles Theatre Initiative, I supported the development of nine new plays and musicals from the application process through premiere productions at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
