I make work to be a better human. Theatre is the art form that best transcends space, time, culture, language, and all other facets of our identities that are too often viewed as reasons we are different than reasons we are alike. To be human is to understand not just your experiences, but the experiences of others - the joys and the traumas and the laughs and the day-to-day lives. Stepping into a new story, learning it for myself, and presenting it for others to learn or feel witnessed in is the greatest privilege of my life. I am human because I am a storyteller.
